The week's Artist of the Week is better known by his stage name, Nasty C . He is homegrown from Durban , South Africa. He began his musical career in 2013 when he released his first mixtape, One Kid , a Thousand Coffins. The highly successful mixtape 'Price City' was released in 2015, this mixtape featured one of his major singles “Juice Back.” which was then remixed featuring well established artists such as Casper Nyovest and Davido.

In early 2016 Nasty released his first single “Hell Naw” off of his debut album “Bad Hair” treating us to one of thee hottest tracks of that year. Hell Naw reached No. 4 on the South African music charts. After the release of Hell Naw the expectations for the rest of the Bad Hair album were set high and man oh man, did Nasty DELIVER! The album features international artist French Montana in the song “Allow” and is filled with bazzingas from the first song to the last. When I say the whole album is good I truly mean the WHOLE album is good.

Nasty C is truly talented and he delivers quality music, something that is difficult to find these days. His music is most definitely worth listening to. If you are a South African and haven't listened to Nasty yet, I am disappointed.
