BIO

Name: Christopher Joseph Gallant III

Gallant for BIllboard (2015)

Date of Birth: 14 November 1991 Place of Birth: Maryland, United States of America Occupation: singer, songwriter Genre: R&B, alternative R&B, alternative rock, electronic

In a world where Frank Ocean's 'White Ferrari' seems like a distant memory for R&B lovers all over the world, Gallant shows to be the most fitting successor. A graduate of New York University (NYU) in music, Gallant's high falsettos and flawless transitions from song to song on his freshman album 'Ology' prove why he was nominated next to THE BEYONCÉ for the grammy for the best urban contemporary album in 2017.

Gallant for Revolt (2019)

However, as sudden as he was around he vanished momentarily for 2 years and returned to drop his sophomore album 'Sweet Insomnia' on Friday. The 90's inspired album brings songs with a bittersweet spin to them. This new album transcended what we thought Gallant was capable of and shows a bright future of R&B.

"All the lyrics of every song really have to do with the bittersweet feeling of everything. I’m not an optimist, not a pessimist anymore either. So, everything’s bittersweet." - Gallant on the significance of the title 'Sweet Insomnia.'

Both albums can be found on Apple Music and Spotify.
