I first heard Ryan Beatty when flicking through Youtube in 2014 and heard his cover of "Magic" by Coldplay which was amazing. I then discovered he had a following as a popular Youtube cover artist and that he had developed a "Justin Bieber" bubbly-pop persona with his debut single "Every Little Thing." However that was never really the persona he wanted and stated that with the right team he's finally able to make music that is more authentic to him.

Beatty has experience touring with Cody Simpson in 2013 on his Paradise Tour and also features on songs with Brockhampton and Tyler the Creator.His music has evolved so much since his debut single “Every Little Thing”. He is now more authentic than ever and is someone that people need to notice.

His 2018 album "Boy In Jeans" is a dreamy and soulful offering giving us a strong influence of Frank Ocean and Miguel like vocals. This is one of my favourite albums making it hard to choose essential songs as every song on the album is a tune. The music videos for the album are simple yet so creative and show that you don't need a big budget to create beautiful art. Ryan Beatty is being slept on at the moment but I'm sure that a talent like this will not go unnoticed for very much longer.
