How the fandom uncovered one of the greatest PR mysteries

Many of us were left confused after receiving adverts promoting the Island of Eroda. The main reason being that this island doesn’t exist. There were different theories surrounding this incident, whether it was Mandela Effect, a ploy to scam people for their money or an elaborate PR move to promote Harry Styles's new album. However the evidence seemed to point towards the latter.

It could be ruled out that Eroda is a real island as it cannot be found on a map as well as the website being strikingly illegitimate. There is no in depth information about the island’s history, the population, languages spoken or the governing system but mainly information about tourist attractions.

Even when clicking on links on the site you are just re-directed

The images used on their website were also proven to just be stock images from various places around Europe. Now, on to the evidence that Harry styles is behind Eroda.

The first clue is the similarity between a poster that has been put up advertising Style’s new single and the Eroda name and logo. The name of his new single being advertised is called Adore You but Adore spelt backwards is Eroda. The same graphic of the fish used in the Harry Styles poster is on the Eroda logo.

The fisherman's pub found on the island is located on the corner of Cherry street and Golden way. Cherry and Golden are also both titles of songs that are on Harry Style’s upcoming album. The name of the salon and spa is Adore’.

Harry was filming in Scotland in August this year and leaked pictures show similar landscapes as shown on the Eroda travel video as well as Harry and others sporting bold hairstyles and outfits which links to how the Eroda website describes the youth "Erodian hairstyles have become a rather bold expression of self amongst the island’s youth." Styles is also spotted pulling a fishing net which links to the important activity performed in Eroda.

It is also mentioned that wearing a “perculiar golden earing” gives you good luck in Erodian culture. Was Harry’s Met gala accessory also hint to his future plans? This would not be the biggest reach in his subtle hint of painting his nails black and blue for the met gala and at later events sporting pink and blue nails, all which of these colours correspond to the colours on his album cover for Fine Line.

There is a Facebook pixel on the Eroda site that can also be found on Harry Styles’ website. A Facebook pixel means they have a tracker on Harrys website that then communicates with the ads that are seen on your Facebook this tells us that it’s the same people who run both sites. Loads of money would be getting spent on this type of advertising so it makes sense that someone with a heavy bank account and a very good motive( such as album promotion) would be behind the Eroda site.

Eventually after all this clever sleuthing Harry revealed the trailer for Adore You on the 2nd of December proving us conspiracy theorists right that he has been behind this mysterious fake island. This genius concept changes the game for musicians and the new and creative ways that they can use their music in cinematic and interactive ways. I'm sure that I am not the only one who cannot wait to see what he has in store for us next!
